Bostick & Sullivan is proud to partner for the first time with internationally renown Art Center College of Design in sunny Pasadena, California. The USA APIS started in 1999, and this will be the 9th biennial APIS conference held in the USA. It can't get any better than having APIS at a school where Ansel Adams once taught!
APIS is the ultimate conference on process photography. At this conference, there will be presentations by some world experts in handmade photography. And, yes, it is international: Italy, China, and Russia are represented by presenters this year.
Italy: Lucretia Moroni: Palladium on gold.
China: Liu Dadi: His work and his ever changing vision.
Russia: Gregori Maiofis: The ultimate Bromoil.
USA: Keith Carter: Keynote Speaker - An Uncertain Alchemy
Art Kaplan: Conservation Scientist, Getty Conservation Institute.
Barret Oliver: The Albumen print.
Ken Merfield and Luther Gerlach: Wetplate Collodion with a demonstration.
Dick Sullivan: Photo History - the Parts they Left Out.
Patti Peters: The Digital Negative.
> SATURDAY 18th 4:30-5:30 Christine Caldwell and Norma Smith: Let's get Started: Cyanotype and Vandyke
